Bloomberg, FactSet, and Capital IQ — the same platforms used at the desks students aspire to. Open weekdays in the heart of the Business Learning Center.
Hours follow the academic calendar and shift each Fall and Spring around the teaching schedule.
The lab reopens for Fall 2026 on Tuesday, August 18.

The lab maintains live, licensed access to the data platforms most heavily used across investment banking, equity research, asset management, and corporate finance.
Live pricing across equities, fixed income, FX, commodities, and derivatives, plus Bloomberg news, analytics, and the BMC certification track.
Company financials, consensus estimates, ownership data, screening, and fixed-income analytics — including FactSet’s Excel add-in for modeling.
Deep coverage of public and private companies, M&A and capital-markets transactions, and credit research from S&P.
Throughout the semester the lab hosts industry speakers, software workshops, and trading challenges open to all Terry students.
An introduction to the Bloomberg Terminal and an overview of the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certification. Open to all Terry undergraduates — come learn what the terminals are for and how to start the BMC track.
A repeat of the August 25 orientation for students who couldn’t make the first session. Same content; come to either one.
The Benn Capital Markets Lab is the Terry College of Business’s on-campus home for hands-on, professional-grade financial analysis. It’s a place where undergraduates can sit down at a Bloomberg terminal, pull a comp set in FactSet, or screen for an M&A target in Capital IQ — the same way they will on the first day of an internship.
The lab was established with a founding gift from Doug and Mickey Benn, whose generosity made it possible for every Terry undergraduate to work with the same professional-grade tools used on the trading floors and analyst desks they aspire to.
